the Experts in Property, the Westcountry network of independent estate agency offices, raised almost £420 at a recent event for its nominated charity, Children’s Hospice South West.

Operating three hospices in the region, Children’s Hospice South West provides a range of services for children with life-limiting conditions and their families, including 24-hour palliative and end of life care, and support for parents and siblings as well as help, advice and support in bereavement and beyond.

Almost a quarter of a million people moved to the Westcountry during the 12 months to 30th June 2017, nearly 23,000 of those from the London boroughs, according to new figures published by the Office of National Statistics last week.

The number of Londoners making the move to areas of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Bristol & Somerset increased by almost 15% from the previous year.

Independent estate agencies across the Westcountry will be taking details of property for sale in the region directly to buyers in London on Thursday 26th July.

The next property auction by Auction House Bristol & West will be held at Ashton Gate Stadium, home of Bristol City FC and the Bristol Bears, on Thursday 19th July, with bidding starting at 7pm.
Within the interesting mix of lots are apartments, houses, land, garages, and commercial premises with guide prices starting at just £50,000 - £60,000, offering some amazing opportunities to investors, business people, and owner-occupiers looking to buy in Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire or Gloucestershire.

Hennings Moir, the long-established, highly-respected Saltash estate agency, is now sister company to Belvoir in Plymouth, having been bought by Belvoir’s director, Kerry Pike.
