07 Nov Plenty of interest from potential buyers in London
the Experts in Property held its final Westcountry Property Exhibition of the year in London last week, and the tempo was surprisingly upbeat.
Steve Moir, chairman of the network, said: “There are clearly still many people in London who wish to relocate to the Westcountry, but with the Brexit uncertainty affecting the housing market in the South East, many are unable to make the move at present.
“However, the light at the end of the long Brexit tunnel is in sight and so people are beginning to look beyond that toward a new life away from the city. With most of the schools out and people off work, the half term provided an ideal opportunity for people to visit us and chat about the opportunities available for their move to the South West.
“Despite heavy rain when we arrived, Fulham was buzzing. The potential buyers who visited our exhibition were impressed by the 3D videos we were able to show, along with other property details and our Distinctly Westcountry magazine, showcasing a hand-picked selection of the most delectable homes for sale with our agents in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Somerset and Bristol.
“Yet again, buyers were surprised by the variety of property in our region, and the excellent value for money they represent, particularly when compared to property prices in the South East.
“Our next event, which will be held in the spring, and therefore after the new Brexit deadline of 31st January 2020, will be extremely interesting, and we imagine, an exceptionally busy one!”
The Westcountry Property Exhibition was held at the Experts in Property’s London affiliate office, Lawsons & Daughters in Fulham. The network’s Distinctly Westcountry magazine is available to pick up from Lawsons & Daughters as well as tens of independent estate agency offices across the South West.
With only a couple of months until the New Year and the time of new beginnings, now is a great time to invite one of our agents’ round for a free valuation on your property, without obligation. We could be ready to start marketing when the Christmas decorations come down (or before of course, if required), and you could be settled into your new home in plenty of time before Easter.
To find your local office, look for our logo on your high street, or visit www.theexpertsinproperty.co.uk/agents-directory. All of our members are local, independent estate agencies, working together to reach more buyers.
