Cutting edge technology

the Experts in Property software is provided by Expert Agent (each member agent must also use this software to enable property sharing, but there is a superb discount available and running cost are extremely reasonable). Whilst member agents pay for their own office software and websites (again, superb discounts/ bespoke designs available) we will allow a link to this site along with its iPhone, iPad and mobile versions that will allow all member’s vendors to access their property information, including feedback, advice and statistics and their applicants access to their individual search criteria, which they can change and alter to suit changing requirements

Marketing and advertising

With an enthusiastic approach to marketing ideas generated from our members, we provide both marketing material and campaigns to our agents. Recent campaigns include a region-wide competition where prospective vendors could win a large cash prize (£1000 - £5000) for getting a sales valuation through one of our agents.

These are extremely wide ranging and include discounts on many forms of advertising and purchasing, including stationery and telephony.

Annual Awards Ceremony

Our yearly awards ceremony is a truly fantastic way of catching up with member agents, we recognise both companies and individuals which awards which they can publicise and promote within their businesses. We usually cater for around 150 delegates, who can enjoy a gala evening.

Regular, innovative and instructive training courses

In the last 18 months, for example, we have trained our agents in Making the most of their agency software package, Photography (including using digital cameras and specialized applications like Photoshop, Multimedia marketing (including tips and hints on maximising the impact of the agent’s own web sites and social media opportunities), Basic estate agency training, Specific selling skills training, Management training, Lettings training and annual legislation updates, Health and Safety at work and Domestic Energy Assessor updates, plus many more. Much of this training is either free or heavily subsidised.

Auction service

We have a bespoke auction service for agents who would like to be involved in, or perhaps miss out on auction business through lack of experience. This service can be tailored to your business and incorporate professional multi-lot auctions or bespoke individual property sales.

Conveyancing service

We have negotiated two superb deals with conveyancing organisations that allow our member agents to offer their clients a bespoke local service backed up by some of the best law firms in the west country or a superb national service with a track record for quicker than average turnarounds.

HR support

With access to tailored agency contracts of employment, plus disciplinary and grievance support. 30 minute free support helpline, with discounted further rates.

Dedicated PR support

Our agents cansend interesting properties and stories to our PR consultant and receive many free editorials in return. In recent months we have obtained coverage in local newspapers, such as the Express and Echo, regional newspapers, such as the Western Morning News and many national publications, such as the Express, Times and Financial Times. We have also benefitted from superb publicity in the agency press including Estate Agency Today and Property Drum.

Anti-virus protection

We have a bulk deal with AVG Professional, to provide our agent’s computers with super anti-virus software at no extra charge.

Administrative support

Our admin centre is based in Exeter and is open from 09:00 until 5:00 on weekdays for questions or queries.

Training centre

Our admin centre benefits from a well-equipped training room that can seat around 30 delegates. It is available free of charge to our member agents.

And finally...

One of the most talked about benefits, which comes up time and time again in conversations about our organisation, is that our agents really do feel that we offer a genuinely friendly talking shop.
